President Donald Trump is under investigation for firing the FBI Director
US President Donald Trump admitted on June 16 that he is being investigated for his role in the firing of FBI Director James Comey a month ago.
On his personal Twitter account, President Donald Trump confirmed that he is being investigated by the US judiciary for firing Mr. James Comey due to his involvement in Russia's interference in the 2016 US presidential election.

Mr. Donald Trump emphasized that he is being investigated by "the very person who suggested he" fire the FBI director.Although he did not specify who, he seemed to be referring to Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosetein and Special Prosecutor Robert Mueller. Previously, Mr. Rosetein was the one who directed Mr. Mueller to directly investigate the Russian interference in the US presidential election.
In a series of statements on June 15, President Donald Trump criticized Mr. Mueller's current investigations as a "political witch hunt" based on fabricated and fake evidence.
