Russian President Putin sends condolences on the passing of President Tran Dai Quang
(Baonghean.vn) - Immediately after hearing the news, Russian President Vladimir Putin sent a condolence message to General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Nguyen Phu Trong, expressing his condolences on the passing of Vietnamese President Tran Dai Quang.

President Putin emphasized that, as head of state, as well as in other important positions, President Tran Dai Quang has received much love from millions of Vietnamese people, has high international prestige, and has made many important contributions to strengthening national security and protecting Vietnam's rights and interests in the international arena."
The Russian leader also highly appreciated President Tran Dai Quang's personal contributions to the development of the comprehensive strategic partnership between Russia and Vietnam, as well as mutually beneficial bilateral cooperation in many fields.
"I have met President Tran Dai Quang many times. His political intelligence and vision, as well as his ability to grasp the essence of the most difficult problems, make people truly respect him," Russian President Putin emphasized.
President Putin sent his condolences to the relatives of President Tran Dai Quang, as well as to all Vietnamese people.
