Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin announced that the national arms program has been signed by Russian President Putin.
This year will be the first year of implementation of the new national armaments program for 2018-2028. Some sources say its value will reach 19 trillion rubles.

"Yes, the document was signed by the President," he said in an interview with the Kommersant newspaper, answering a relevant question.
Mr. Rogozin stressed that the huge difference between the new program and the current one is that in recent months the draft state armaments program has been adjusted based on information received in Syria.
According to him, this is the result of a comprehensive assessment of weapons and equipment in combat conditions, an assessment of the effectiveness of the use of new systems and complexes under external factors. According to Rogozin, more than 200 types of weapons and equipment took part in this process.
"Robotic equipment, intelligent systems, combat and reconnaissance UAVs, systems for protecting aircraft from fire - all this is in the new national armaments program,” Mr. Rogozin./.
