President Obama burst into tears at farewell party

US President Barack Obama admitted he could not hold back his tears at a recent farewell party for staff as his term nears its end.

US President Barack Obama recently had an interview with the show“The Axe Files”.In this interview aired yesterday, December 26, President Obama shared his personal thoughts about his two presidential terms.

“I believe that if I run again and if I am allowed to run again, I can get a lot of support from the American people. I know that in conversations with people across the country, some people who don't even agree with me, they will say that my vision and direction is right,” Mr. Obama said.

He said it was the sincerity and idealism of his staff that inspired him throughout his two terms. “I had a farewell party with the staff… Just four minutes later I started wiping away tears with a tissue,” he said.

The White House chief shared that he felt like he and they were a team but were about to separate. However, he emphasized that he still wanted to devote his time to nurturing talent as he had done during his two terms.

President Obama will leave office on January 20 and he said that after leaving the White House he will spend a vacation with his family. He also promised to be “quiet” for a while after leaving office to be “himself” and people will not have to wait too long until he releases his first book./.
