President Putin: Russia will respond appropriately to any threat.

President Putin asserted that no one is currently or will be able to threaten or pressure Russia.

Russia will never yield to Western pressure. This was the statement made by President Vladimir Putin on March 26th at a meeting of the Federal Security Service.

Russian President Putin stated that there were conspiracies to carry out subversive activities against Russia during the 2016 and 2018 elections, and demanded that these destabilizing plots be thwarted. President Putin asserted that Western intelligence agencies were plotting to destabilize the situation in Russia.

"In an attempt to contain Russia, Western countries have used every means possible, from attempts at political isolation and economic pressure to large-scale information warfare. Recently, they have even openly stated that they are doing so to target those who oppose their interests. But such tactics will never work in Russia, neither in the past nor in the future," President Putin stated.

According to Putin, the West is developing a new global lightning-strike warfare system, but Russia will "respond appropriately" to any threat to its national security. He asserted that no one is, or will be, able to threaten or pressure Russia.
