Speaking at the parade, President Vladimir Putin declared that Victory Day celebrated in Russia is the most important and solemn holiday.
“Russia always remembers the lessons of World War II and will never accept historical distortions of this event,” President Vladimir Putin stressed, sending congratulations to all the people and participants of the parade marking the 80th anniversary of Victory Day.
The Russian country and people will never forget, and continue to remember and admire the veterans of the Great Patriotic War, their love for the Motherland and their desire to defend their homeland.
President Putin stressed that the Russian Federation will remain an impregnable wall against supporters of Nazism, Russophobia and anti-Semitism.
