President Putin believes that Russia-US relations will be fully restored
(Baonghean.vn)- On October 3, speaking at the international forum called Russian Energy Week held in Moscow, President Vladimir Putin affirmed that sooner or later Russia and the US can completely restore bilateral relations.

The Russian leader emphasized: "We will make efforts, because this (the US) is one of the world's largest powers, a leader in many ways, our natural partner in many activities, including international security, non-proliferation of weapons of mass destruction, the fight against terrorism, combating climate change... We believe that sooner or later the time will come when the two sides can fully restore bilateral relations."
President Putin affirmed that he understands President Trump's position on energy issues, saying that the US leader is protecting the interests of the country and American businesses.
In addition, the Russian President expressed: "I want the accusations of Russian interference in the US election to end, so that the US leadership can calm down and clearly define the bilateral relationship, thereby restoring the balance between common sense and national interests, just like in the oil market."
The Russian leader stressed that the issue surrounding the US election should not affect the relationship between Moscow and Washington, as well as the situation around the world./
