Turkish President warns of possible end to alliance with US
Türkiye will approach the International Court of Arbitration if the United States does not provide F-35 fighter jets, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan told reporters, adding that the country could consider alternative options.

Additionally, the Turkish president hinted that the US risks losing an ally if it does not stop threatening sanctions against Ankara.
For its part, Washington announced its readiness to continue to pressure the Turkish leadership to achieve the release of American pastor Brunson, accused in Türkiye of plotting to overthrow the country's government.
Previously, the US Congress blocked the supply of fifth-generation F-35 fighter jets to Türkiye due to Ankara's plans to purchase Russian S-400 air defense missile systems.
