“The deal with China is fully intact. I hope they continue to implement the terms of the deal,” the US leader wrote.

Earlier, Mr. Peter Navarro - Advisor to the US President on trade, informed Fox News channel that Mr. Trump had terminated the trade agreement with China.

The tense phase of the trade war between the two countries began in 2019. The sides imposed reciprocal tariffs on each other's goods worth hundreds of billions of dollars.

On January 15, 2020, the two countries signed an agreement on the first phase of a bilateral trade agreement. Under the agreement, China will spend $200 billion to buy goods and services from the United States within 2 years. In return, the United States is expected to eliminate tariffs on imported goods from China after the development of the second phase of the agreement.
