Ukrainian President Pyotr Poroshenko said that Kiev within the framework of the Minsk agreements has fulfilled 95% of its political commitments and 100% - in the security sphere. He stated this at a press conference after a meeting with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

Tổng thống Poroshenko khẳng định Kiev đáp ứng 95% yêu cầu của thỏa thuận
President Poroshenko affirmed that Kiev meets 95% of the requirements of the "Minsk-2" agreement.

For his part, the Canadian Prime Minister noted that Ukraine "has really taken very difficult steps", and stressed the need to continue to put pressure on Russia.

According to the Minsk Agreements, Kiev must carry out constitutional reform by the end of 2015, the key element of which is the issue of decentralization and the adoption of a law on the special status of Donbass. However, until now, Kiev has not complied with these requirements.

For Moscow, as the Russian Foreign Ministry stressed, it can only exert pressure on the conflicting parties. The Kremlin believes that linking Western sanctions with the implementation of the Minsk agreements is absurd, since Russia is not a party to the conflict and is not a subject of the Minsk agreements on Ukraine.
