The fastest concept is measured by the car's top speed and acceleration.

In the list of 10 fastest SUVs in the world, there are 4 electric cars. Let's take a look from the 10th position in terms of acceleration from 0-97km/h.

Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat 2023

Acceleration 0-97km/h: 3.5 seconds

Power: 710 horsepower

Torque: 648lb-ft (879Nm)

Maximum speed: 290km/h

The Durango SRT Hellcat first debuted in 2021 as a special, one-off model. However, the model's incredible success prompted the American automaker to bring it back in 2023 to meet consumer demand.

The car is equipped with a 6.2L supercharged Hellcat V8 engine, producing 710 horsepower.

Lamborghini Urus 2023

Acceleration 0-97km/h: 3.5 seconds

Power: 650 horsepower

Torque: 627lb-ft (850Nm)

Maximum speed: 306km/

Using a 4.0L turbocharged V8 engine similar to the one used in the Audi RS Q8 but tuned by Lamborghini, this super SUV has a capacity of 650 horsepower without the support of an electric motor. Combined with an 8-speed automatic transmission, the 2023 Urus has a maximum speed of up to 306km/h.

Mercedes-AMG EQE SUV 2024

Acceleration 0-97km/h: 3.4 seconds

Power: 677 horsepower

Torque: 737lb-ft (999Nm)

Maximum speed: 240km/h

Launched in October 2022 alongside the standard EQE-Class models, the AMG version uses a pair of electric motors to increase power. The car also has a revised suspension and upgraded brakes to match the AMG logo. The above parameters are only achieved with the optional high-performance package, otherwise the capacity will be 617 horsepower and the acceleration time from 0-97 km/h is 3.7 seconds.

Lamborghini Urus Performante 2023

Acceleration 0-97km/h: 3.3 seconds

Power: 666 horsepower

Torque: 627lb-ft (850Nm)

Maximum speed: 306km/h

This car model is being officially distributed in Vietnam with a price of 16.5 billion VND.

If the regular Urus is in the Top 10, there's no reason why the high-performance Urus Performante shouldn't be there, as it can accelerate from 0-60 mph even faster.

The Lamborghini Urus Performante uses a new design language and has better performance than the standard Urus (engine power increased by 16 horsepower). In terms of appearance, the front bumper is more aggressive, the rear bumper is also redesigned; the chassis is lowered by 20mm, while the wheelbase is increased by 16mm, and the total length of the vehicle is increased by 25mm.

Ferrari Purosangue 2023

Acceleration 0-97km/h: 3.3 seconds

Power: 715 horsepower

Torque: 528lb-ft (716Nm)

Maximum speed: 309km/h

The 2023 Ferrari Purosangue has a rear door that opens in the opposite direction to the front door, a spacious trunk, and uses a 4-wheel drive system. Unlike its competitors in the same segment, Ferrari chose a crossover style, so it has a fairly low chassis - 1,589mm. This design may make the interior space less comfortable than its competitors, but in return it has a more elegant appearance.

The naturally aspirated 6.5L V12 engine, producing 715 horsepower and 716Nm of torque, is combined with a full-time 4-wheel drive system and a rear-mounted 8-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, giving the Purosangue an ideal 49:51 weight distribution ratio.

Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT 2023

Acceleration 0-97km/h: 3.1 seconds

Power: 631 horsepower

Torque: 626lb-ft (849Nm)

Maximum speed: 299km/h

In Vietnam, the 2023 Cayenne Turbo GT model costs 12.84 billion VND. Photo: Porsche

Like the Cayenne Turbo, the GT uses a 4.0L twin-turbo V8 engine, but with upgraded internals and new software, it now produces 631 horsepower. The 8-speed automatic transmission has also been recalibrated for faster gear changes. With a lower chassis, wider wheels, and no need to "carry" an electric motor or battery pack, the GT is much lighter than the Cayenne Turbo S E-Hybrid. As a result, the car accelerates from 0-60 mph half a second faster and can reach a top speed of 185 mph.

Aston Martin DBX707 2023

Acceleration 0-97km/h: 3.1 seconds

Power: 697 horsepower

Torque: 663lb-ft (899Nm)

Maximum speed: 310km/h

It's an undeniable fact that electric motors have changed the world of high-performance vehicles, but the internal combustion engine is far from dead.

Launched in early 2022 with a 4.0L twin-turbo V8 engine with 697 horsepower, the DBX707 is still the "king of speed". In terms of acceleration from 0-97km/h, it may only be ranked 4th in the world, down 2 places from last year, but in terms of maximum speed, it is still number 1.

Rivian R1S 2023

Acceleration 0-97km/h: 3 seconds

Power: 835 horsepower

Torque: 908lb-ft (1,231Nm)

Maximum speed: 201km/h

The highest configuration version uses 4 electric motors, has a pulling capacity of up to 3.2 tons and accelerates from 0-97km/h in less than 3 seconds. Even more surprising is that all these parameters belong to an SUV with 3 rows of seats.

The top speed is the downside of the Rivian R1S as it is electronically limited to 201km/h.

Lotus Electric R 2024

Acceleration 0-100km/h: 2.95 seconds

Power: 905 horsepower

Torque: 726lb-ft (984Nm)

Maximum speed: 266km/h

The Eletre will finally be available in its native UK this year, with other markets to follow. While the standard version of the SUV still comes with two electric motors, producing 603 horsepower, it is the Eletre R that makes the list of the fastest SUVs in the world, thanks to its electric motor system that produces a maximum output of 905 horsepower.

The 112kWh battery pack can charge from 10% to 80% in just 20 minutes using a fast charging station.

Tesla Model X 2023

Acceleration 0-97km/h: 2.5 seconds

Power: 1,020 horsepower

Torque: no information

Maximum speed: 262km/h

The car has a maximum output of 1,020 horsepower from a system of three electric motors. Starting at $144,490, it is not cheap, but the Model X Plaid is not the most expensive car on this list. That title belongs to the Ferrari Purosangue, which costs around $400,000.

This all-electric SUV can tow up to 5,000 pounds and is fast enough to rival any internal combustion engine. Notably, while other manufacturers are racing to raise prices, Tesla has reduced the MSRP of the Model X Plaid from $144,490 last year to $109,990.

Which SUV is the fastest?

The Tesla Model X Plaid is the fastest 0-60 mph SUV - in just 2.5 seconds. It is also the fastest pure electric SUV. If we only consider internal combustion engine vehicles, the title of fastest SUV in the world belongs to the Aston Martin DBX707 and Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT - accelerating from 0-60 mph in 3.1 seconds.

Which SUV has the most power?

With 1,020 horsepower from 3 electric motors, the Tesla Model X Plaid is the world's most powerful SUV in 2023.

Which 7-seat SUV is the fastest?

This title also belongs to the Tesla Model X Plaid, with the ability to accelerate from 0-97km/h in 2.5 seconds and a top speed of 262km/h.
