(Baonghean.vn) - By 9:00 p.m. on April 20, nearly 100% of schools in Nghe An province had basically completed entering exam registration and admission data of candidates into the exam management software system via the Internet, ensuring the correct progress according to regulations.
Up to this point, the whole province has 30,947 candidates registered for the exam. Of which, 2,261 are independent candidates and 10,577 candidates registered for the exam only for graduation (accounting for about 30%). Of these, the percentage of students registering for the social science subjects (History - Geography - Civic Education) accounts for nearly 70% with an average of more than 19,000 candidates per subject. The natural science subject group (Physics - Chemistry - Biology) has an average of about 11,000 candidates registered.

Thus, this year, the number of candidates registering for the exam in Nghe An is more than 1,000 lower than in previous years, and the rate of registration for graduation purposes is also about 7% lower. However, the number of candidates registering for social subjects has increased dramatically, and there is no longer a situation of many "blank" test scores for candidates in History and social subjects like in previous years.
According to statistics, there are currently 74,300 wishes of candidates from the province registered to enter universities, with an average of 3-4 wishes per student.
As a result, Vinh University is the school with the highest number of candidates registering with 10,982 wishes. Following are National Economics University with 3,263 wishes and Hanoi University of Science and Technology with 3,217 wishes.

According to the regulations of the 2017 National High School Exam, after April 20, 2017, candidates are not allowed to change their exam clusters and information about the registered exams/subjects. However, candidates are allowed to change their university and college admission wishes once after knowing the exam results.
The 2017 National High School Exam will be held nearly 2 weeks earlier than previous years, from June 22 to 24, with three compulsory subjects: Math, Literature, and Foreign Language. In addition, candidates can choose one of two subject combinations: Natural Sciences and Social Sciences.
This year, the Department of Education and Training will be the host unit and it is expected that candidates will take the exam at 62 exam locations with nearly 1,300 exam rooms for first-time candidates, independent candidates and exam rooms for candidates studying at continuing education centers.
