Ninh Binh Discovery Tour Ranked Among the World's Best Travel Experiences
The day tour from Hanoi to Ninh Binh was voted by Tripadvisor as one of the most attractive experiences in the world in 2024.
According to information from Ninh Binh Department of Tourism, with more than 3,600 reviews from international tourists,"Ninh Binh day tour, departing from Hanoi"was ranked 9th in the list of 25 most fascinating experiences in the world by Tripadvisor. This is the only destination from Vietnam to appear on the list.
The World's Most Fascinating Travel Experiences is the latest category announced by Tripadvisor as part of its annual Travelers' Choice Awards Best of the Best. The award list is based on the highest number of votes from millions of readers, travelers, and experts around the world.
Of the 8 million lists voted on in 12 months, only 1% of destinations were named.
Tripadvisor suggests that visitors should spend a day immersing themselves in the natural beauty of Ninh Binh. Visitors can try hiking, cycling to see the picturesque countryside, and taking photos of the scenic spots.
As a province with many special natural landscapes, rich cultural and historical heritage, Ninh Binh is famous for domestic and international tourists. In the first 6 months of the year, the number of visitors to the province is estimated at more than 6.2 million, an increase of nearly 39% over the same period last year and reaching nearly 84% of the yearly plan.
Tourism revenue in the first 6 months is estimated at nearly 6,000 billion VND, 1.5 times higher than the same period last year, reaching 72% of the annual plan. Ninh Binh aims to become a centrally-governed city by 2035, with the characteristics of "Millennium Heritage City, Creative City", taking Trang An heritage as the center.
In 2020, Trips to Discover (USA) included Ninh Binh in the list of 14 most attractive destinations in Asia. In 2022, Travel and Leisure magazine (USA) ranked Ninh Binh in the list of 12 most beautiful filming locations in Asia.
In 2023, Ninh Binh won the Traveler Review Award, being the only representative of Vietnam to be in the top 10 friendliest destinations in the world. Forbes magazine (USA) voted Ninh Binh as one of the 23 most worth-visiting places in the world.
Most recently, in 2024, Ninh Binh ranked 4th in the "Top 10 wonders of the world for people who don't like crowds".
