The entry-level versions will use a 2.5L 'Dynamic Force' 4-cylinder engine, Dual VVT-i technology with VVT-iE direct fuel injection technology, for a maximum capacity of 206 horsepower, maximum torque of 252 Nm. If accompanied by an electric motor in the hybrid powertrain, this engine only produces 176 horsepower and 220 Nm of torque.

The higher-end 3.5L V6 engine has a maximum power of 301 horsepower and a maximum torque of 362 Nm. Both engine versions come with an 8-speed automatic transmission, while the CVT automatic transmission will be reserved for the hybrid versions.
