Toyota Camry releases new cheaper version in Vietnam
The Japanese brand will take advantage of the opportunity to upgrade the Camry to a new generation to adjust the product's price to be more reasonable compared to competitors.
Although Toyota is still the dominant car brand in the Vietnamese automobile market in most popular segments, the complicated developments over the past year have forced this car company to change. From the best-selling car like Vios to the struggling Corolla Altis, all have been and are reducing their selling prices. Even Camry is no exception.
It is expected that in October 2017, Toyota will introduce to the Vietnamese market the upgraded 2017 version of Camry. This will be an improved version based on the current Camry, with a slightly modified exterior to make it more modern, not the completely new generation Camry that was launched in the US not long ago.

Toyota Camry releases new cheaper version in Vietnam |
Although detailed specifications have not been announced, some sources say that the 2017 Camry in Vietnam will have a lower-end configuration version, with less equipment. This version will use smaller tires, smaller rims, as well as a sound system with fewer speakers and lower power... It is expected to push the price of the Camry down to better compete with the standard version of the Mazda6.
Currently, Toyota Camry in Vietnam is maintaining 3 configuration versions: 2.0E priced at 1.098 billion VND, 2.5G priced at 1.236 billion VND and 2.5Q priced at 1.383 billion VND. It is expected that the version with reduced equipment when launched will also use a 2.0L engine. This is considered a stepping stone before the all-new Camry 2018 is brought to Vietnam.
