What's new in Toyota Fortuner 2017 TRD Sportivo?

At the largest auto exhibition in Southeast Asia - Bangkok Motor Show 2017, which opened on March 29, Toyota Thailand introduced the Fortuner with the TRD Sportivo sports package, priced from 1.679 million baht (equivalent to 1.1 billion VND).

The Toyota Fortuner TRD Sportivo has a distinctly different appearance compared to the original, a more personal interior, and a high-end sound system. The engineers of Toyota's Asia-Pacific branch (TMAP-EM) in Thailand are responsible for designing this version.

Fortuner TRD Sportivo has a more distinctive front bumper, a large grille with the Toyota logo, and the TRD Sportivo logo on the body. The rear of the car is a newly designed stainless steel exhaust pipe, along with a black-painted rear bumper and roof spoiler, and 20-inch 6-spoke black-painted alloy wheels for a sporty, strong look.

The interior is also upgraded with impressive red-black leather seats. The car's dashboard is exclusively designed. In addition, the car is also equipped with an 11-speaker JBL Power Amp sound system and a T-connect navigation system, bringing a sense of comfort to customers.

The engine equipment has not changed, still the 2.8L turbo-diesel type for a maximum capacity of 177 horsepower, maximum torque of 450 Nm, combined with a 6-speed automatic transmission. Disc brakes are equipped on all 4 wheels. The suspension system of the Fortuner TRD Sportivo is refined to suit the new 20-inch wheel size instead of the original 18-inch, creating better performance.
