Toyota reveals new Yaris
The first European auto show of 2017 - Geneva Motor Show - will welcome a new version of Toyota Yaris with some changes similar to the previous WRC racing version.

Toyota Yaris 2017 in Europe has some changes, with a new radiator grille design integrating all the air intakes to make the "face" of the car more open, the fog lights have more sharp design details for a more modern image.
At the rear, the air vents are also renewed with the similarity of the design language at the front, the lighting system with headlights integrated with LED daytime running lights is softer and more attractive than the old version, at the rear, the brake/reverse lights are all applied with LED technology.
Inside the car, Toyota said it has enhanced soundproofing and improved some design details, notably the TFT display system, electric power steering system and Toyota Safety Sense active safety system as standard equipment for all versions.
In addition, other safety systems remain unchanged compared to current versions; lane warning system, automatic headlight angle adjustment (up/down), traffic sign recognition and warning system, active braking system in the city.
Surprisingly, the Toyota Yaris in Europe has just removed the 1.3L engine to replace it with the 1.5L I4 engine similar to the Vios (which Toyota has done in Vietnam), with a capacity of about 111 horsepower and maximum torque of 135 Nm with the choice of a 5-speed manual transmission or a CVT automatic transmission. This equipment helps the Toyota Yaris accelerate from 0-60 mph (96 km/h) in 11 seconds.

In addition, Toyota said that detailed specifications of the Yaris models in Europe will be officially announced at the Geneva Motor Show in March and will be available to customers immediately. In particular, Toyota also revealed the possibility of bringing a hybrid version of this model to the Old Continent.
