The 2014 Toyota Highlander has arrived in Vietnam.

Imported directly from the US, the new generation of the 7-seater Toyota Highlander SUV has arrived in Vietnam through the distributor Son Tung Auto, priced at $110,000 (approximately 2.3 billion VND).

The 2014 Toyota Highlander boasts a more robust yet youthful appearance compared to its predecessor. The front end is more square and substantial, highlighted by a large grille seamlessly integrated with the headlights.

The large 7-seater SUV measures 4,853 mm in length, 1,925 mm in width, and 1,729 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,788 mm. The 2014 Highlander is 68 mm longer and 15 mm wider than the current model.

The competitor to the Mazda CX-9 and Toyota Land Prado is equipped with automatic climate control with air filtration and air vents at all seating positions, power-adjustable mirrors, a 6-speaker sound system, Bluetooth hands-free calling, etc.

Additionally, the car features a sunroof, manually adjustable leather seats, and numerous storage compartments at each seat and in the center armrest.

The leather-wrapped, tilt-adjustable steering wheel integrates controls for audio, phone, and cruise control settings.

The vehicle's safety system includes 6 airbags, ABS brakes on all four wheels, traction control and vehicle stability control, electronic stability control, tire pressure monitoring system, and a rearview camera with lane markings.

The 2014 Highlander in Vietnam is equipped with a 2.7-liter DOHC VVT-i V4 engine, producing 185 horsepower at 5,800 rpm and a maximum torque of 250 Nm at 4,200 rpm. The vehicle features front-wheel drive and a 6-speed automatic transmission.

In Vietnam, the 2014 Highlander is available in six color options. The vehicle is covered by a 2-year or 20,000 km warranty from the distributor, Son Tung, according to global standards.
