Toyota Hilux 2018 is about to launch 3 special versions to the market
According to Toyota Australia, the Hilux pickup truck will have three special versions: Rogue, Rugged and Rugged X, expected to be launched in the second quarter of 2018.
Conceived as three completely different premium models, each variant will have its own color scheme but they will share sporty features that will help increase off-road protection, resilience and functionality for these pickups.
First up is the top-spec Hilux Rugged X variant, a pickup truck “perfect for adventure trips”.
It comes with a host of extremely rugged details such as alloy crash bars, a winch-compatible steel front bumper, a black honeycomb grille, black surrounds, high-exit exhaust pipes to help the vehicle cross deep water, LED lighting, front and rear tow hooks, rock treads, a bed reinforcement bar, along with “other heavy-duty components.”

Finally, there’s the Hilux Rugged, which looks like an off-road pickup similar to the Rugged X but without the heavy equipment. This variant has a unique front and rear design with a steel front bumper.
Pricing for all three variants will be announced by Toyota closer to launch; however, they are expected to start from $55,440.
