Toyota Land Cruiser 2015 costs 2.8 billion in Vietnam

The large SUV is equipped with a 4.6-liter V8 engine, upgraded design and increased price by 218 million VND.

Toyota Vietnam introduces the 2015 version of its large SUV with design upgrades, following the common language shown on the Japanese automaker's product line globally.

The latest feature in the overall design is the hexagonal grille with 3 prominent horizontal chrome bars instead of the vertical type of the previous version, linked to horizontally developed LED headlights. The muscular look appears on the hood of the large SUV with strong lines.

The previous vertical taillights were replaced with horizontal ones, giving the car a more spacious feel. The chrome-plated horizontal bar at the rear extends to the taillights, the position lights are raised high, and the rear bumper is sportier.

The overall design of the new Land Cruiser is not as flashy and individual as its twin brother Lexus LX570. However, under the Toyota logo, the SUV looks more calm and masculine.

The interior is almost unchanged from the previous version with large, clear, easy-to-adjust buttons and a large display screen. Most notable in the interior are dozens of user amenities.

The front seats have 10-way power adjustment for the driver's seat and 8-way for the passenger seat, with 3-position memory function, and both seats have heating function. Leather-wrapped steering wheel, 4-way power adjustment, integrated control keys, and Bluetooth hands-free calling. 4-zone automatic air conditioning, and the car has a new cooler to keep drinks cold. Single-disc CD audio system, 6 speakers.

Powering the off-road SUV is a 4.6-liter V8 SOHC VVT-i engine that produces 304 horsepower and 439 Nm of torque, with an integrated intake manifold adjustment system (ACIS). 6-speed automatic transmission, Torsen limited-slip center differential. Full-time 4-wheel drive, dynamic stability suspension system (KDSS).

Other support technologies include cruise control, off-road speed selection, terrain adaptation with 5 selectable modes: Mud, Gravel, Buffalo, Rock and Rock. There is also sharp cornering support technology.

Basic safety technology includes 10 airbags, anti-lock braking system, electronic brake force distribution, emergency brake assist, electronic stability control, active traction control, hill start assist. New technology is emergency brake warning (EBS) that will light up the front and rear turn signals to warn other vehicles when the Land Cruiser driver brakes suddenly.

Toyota sells the 2015 Land Cruiser 200 imported from Japan for 2.825 billion VND, with 7 color options. This price is 218 million VND higher than the old version.

Land Cruiser is a large SUV line developed by Toyota since 1951. In Vietnam, Toyota has sold this model since 2000, with cumulative sales to date of about 3,700 units.
