New generation Toyota RAV4 revealed - threatening CR-V
The fifth generation crossover is expected to have a sportier design and will be launched in late March 2018.
Toyota has just released the first images of the RAV4, a rival to the Honda CR-V, Nissan X-Trail and Mazda CX-5. As the Japanese automaker's best-selling product in the US, the RAV4 is expected to have many improvements to boost sales.

The teaser image arouses fans' curiosity rather than revealing any part of the design of the Toyota RAV4. The Japanese automaker also did not reveal further information about the engine and equipment on the new product.
With images on the test track, many predict that the new generation RAV4 will continue the muscular, sporty design like its younger brother C-HR or the FT-AC concept launched in December 2017.

In 2017, the Toyota RAV4 ranked eighth in the list of 10 best-selling vehicles in the US, with 375,052 units sold. RAV4 salesranked below the Nissan X-Trail and Honda CR-V in the mid-size SUV segment.
The RAV4 was born in 1994 and is currently in its fourth generation, starting in 2013. In Vietnam, Toyota RAV4 is not officially distributed but imported privately. The price of a 2017 RAV4 model with a 2.5-liter engine is about 2 billion VND.
