Vinh City: Details of 10 wards and communes with locked down areas

On the morning of December 12, Nghe An recorded 35 new Covid-19 infections, including 6 community cases. Notably, there were 4 community cases in Doi Cung and Le Loi wards, Vinh city.

InDoi Cung ward, 3 Covid-19 cases in the community are members of the same family. The locality has locked down the patient's living area at 54, Doi Cung Street. It is known that the couple works as hairdressers and shampooers, the wife recently gave birth so she did not move around much. Not long ago, the family attended a death anniversary in Hung Thinh commune, Hung Nguyen district, this is likely the source of the infection because F0s have also been recorded attending the death anniversary. Currently, the locality has traced 20 F1s and isolated them according to regulations.

In Le Loi ward, the local authorities have locked down the patient's residence at 140 Truong Chinh street, block 14. According to the declaration, the patient returned from Hanoi 2 months ago, has been staying at home recently, and is currently renting a space at 81 Nguyen Van Cu to renovate into a coffee shop. On December 7, the patient had close contact with a friend who worked at Military Hospital 4. When the friend tested positive for Covid-19, the patient took the initiative to get tested and got the same result.

Thus, as of December 12, Vinh City has recorded 342 Covid-19 infections in the third wave of the epidemic, starting from October 15. Of which, Hung Loc has 63 cases, Hung Dung has 48 cases, Trung Do has 36 cases, Ha Huy Tap has 30 cases...

Currently, in Vinh City, there are 10 localities with locked-down areas, including: Hung Dong, Hung Dung, Hung Phuc, Ha Huy Tap, Hung Loc, Nghi An, Ben Thuy, Trung Do, Doi Cung and Le Loi with over 100 households. The whole city currently has 221 people in centralized quarantine in 4 areas including: Lam Hong Hotel, Asia Hotel, Pedagogical College and Anphan Hotel.

Community Covid-19 infections on the morning of December 12 in Vinh City:

1. Patient LTT, male, born in 1974. Address: Block 6, Doi Cung Ward, Vinh City. On December 11, after hearing that Patient TBT had a positive result, the patient went to the Health Station to declare and had a rapid test with a positive result. Immediately after that, the patient was isolated and had a sample taken for a confirmation result. The patient has no symptoms.

2. Patient DTN, female, born in 1975. Address: Block 6, Doi Cung Ward, Vinh City. Patient is the wife of Patient LTT who was announced at the same time. On December 11, after hearing that Patient TBT had a positive result, the patient went to the health station to declare and the rapid test result was positive. Immediately after that, the patient was isolated and sampled for a positive result.

3. Patient LHA, male, born in 2020. Address: Block 6, Doi Cung Ward, Vinh City. Patient is the son of Patient LTT who was announced at the same time. On December 11, after the father had a positive rapid test result, the patient had a sample taken by the health station for a confirmed result. Patient has symptoms: runny nose, hives.

4. Patient N.D.L, male, born in 1997. Address: Block 14, Le Loi Ward, Vinh City. On December 11, after hearing that his friend had a suspected positive test result, the patient went to the health station to declare and had a rapid test with a positive result. Immediately after that, the patient was isolated and had a sample taken for a confirmed result. The patient has symptoms of fatigue.
