Vinh City installs street nameplate Nguyen Truong Khoat
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of April 2, the Party Committee, People's Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee of Ha Huy Tap Ward, Vinh City held a ceremony to attach the nameplate to Nguyen Truong Khoat Street.

Comrade Nguyen Truong Khoat, also known as Nguyen Truong Khoat, was born on February 7, 1913 in Thuong Xa commune, now Nghi Xa commune, Nghi Loc district.
He joined the revolution and was admitted to the Party in June 1930. During his 70 years of service, he held many different positions. From 1956 to 1961, Nguyen Truong Khoat was Secretary of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee.
With his great contributions to the revolutionary cause, he was awarded by the Party and the State: 70-year Party membership badge, First-class Anti-French Resistance Medal, First-class Anti-American Resistance Medal and many other noble titles.

On August 4, 2016, the 17th Nghe An Provincial People's Council, 2nd session, passed Resolution No. 18/2016/NQ-HDND on naming and renaming roads in phase V and naming overpasses in Vinh city.
Among the 25 streets newly named in this Resolution is Nguyen Truong Khoat Street in Ha Huy Tap Ward. The street is 340 meters long and 12 meters wide. The starting point intersects with Le Nin Avenue and the ending point intersects with Bui Huy Bich Street.
The fact that Nghe An province named a street after Nguyen Truong Khoat shows gratitude and recognition of the great contributions of comrade Nguyen Truong Khoat to the cause of national construction and development. This is also the pride of the hometown and family of comrade Nguyen Truong Khoat.
