(Baonghean.vn) -In anticipation of the 66th anniversary of the Day of War Invalids and Martyrs, on the morning of July 22nd, the Traditional Medicine Association of the city and the Traditional Medicine Association of Nghi An commune organized free medical examinations and provided free medicine to relatives of martyrs, war invalids, and those who have rendered meritorious services to the revolution in Nghi An commune.
During this period, traditional medicine practitioners from the City Traditional Medicine Association and the Nghi An Commune Traditional Medicine Association provided free medical examinations and medication to 42 beneficiaries of social policies, totaling 15 million VND (of which the Nghi An Commune Traditional Medicine Association contributed 10 million VND, and the City Traditional Medicine Association contributed 5 million VND). In addition to free examinations and medication, the practitioners also provided direct advice and guidance on how to protect health and prevent common diseases.
Also on the occasion of the 66th anniversary of the War Invalids and Martyrs Day on July 27th, the 283rd Air Defense Brigade organized free medical examinations and dispensed free medicine to 50 beneficiaries, including war invalids, Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, and families in difficult circumstances in Hung Dong commune.
During the examination, doctors and medical staff from the 283rd Air Defense Brigade kindly inquired about the health of the soldiers, measured their blood pressure and heart rate, conducted examinations as requested, provided free medicine, and offered health advice and disease prevention tips, with a total cost of 10 million VND.
