(Baonghean.vn) - Hundreds of curious people flocked to Quan Bau ward - Vinh city to watch the process of moving a 3-story house weighing 800 tons. For the first time, 3 companies in Nghe An have relocated houses currently in use to another location.
The 3-storey house weighing 800 tons was moved to a new location on the right side, 40m away and rotated 30 degrees. |
To move the house, instead of using a manual pulley, the construction team used hydraulic pipes. |
Each hydraulic pipe has a pulling/pushing force of over 200 tons, fixed to the pillars on the field. |
This hydraulic tube is mounted on the facade to push the house backwards. |
There are 4 hydraulic pipes used in total, 2 push pipes at the front and 2 pull pipes at the back of the house. |
The compressor of 2 hydraulic pipes has the task of pulling at the back of the house. |
The house's old foundation was cut away, a new concrete foundation was cast in to help stabilize the structure, then the entire building was placed on a roller system and slid on a solid concrete floor. |
