(Baonghean.vn) –Due to the influence of the remnants of Typhoon No. 2, heavy rain has fallen over a wide area from the night of June 22nd until now. In Vinh City, the heavy rain has caused flooding on several roads. In particular, the heavy rain coinciding with the first day of the high school entrance exam has made travel very difficult for parents and students.

At nearly 10:00 AM this morning, June 23rd, at the gate of Huynh Thuc Khang High School (Vinh City), as the exam time for candidates was almost over, many parents were present to pick up their children. On Le Hong Phong Street, parents parked their cars densely, causing localized traffic congestion. In the heavy rain, the police force worked hard to manage traffic flow. Some roads near exam locations, such as Ha Huy Tap High School and Le Viet Thuat High School, although not completely congested, also experienced localized traffic jams.

Later that afternoon, flooding occurred on roads such as Duy Tan and Herman Gmeiner, causing significant traffic disruption. Right next to the power company, a Hyundai i30 broke down and had to be rescued.

Here are some photos we took on June 23rd.

At 10 a.m., after the exam, the section of Le Hong Phong road passing by Huynh Thuc Khang school was congested.

Some sections of Duy Tan and Herman Gmeiner streets are flooded.
Transportation is experiencing difficulties.
