In recent days, the mass media has reported that Chinese vegetables, apples, and onions and garlic tested positive for residues of preservatives or pesticides. The information has attracted the attention of consumers and housewives.
At Quang Trung market, we met Ms. Nguyen Thi Thao - a housewife, she expressed: Yesterday I read the above information on Facebook and I shared it with my friends, I feel worried because Chinese vegetables and fruits are mixed everywhere.
Food is so toxic now, I don't know what to buy at the market. Vegetables, onions, garlic... are all familiar foods, I hope that the authorities will continue to inspect and punish them strongly to ensure the health of consumers.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoa, a green mustard vegetable seller at Vinh market agricultural wholesale market, said: "I have always sold green mustard vegetables, selling about 40 kg per day, but I don't understand why today the sales are very slow, buyers keep asking where the vegetables come from? I also get them back from the wholesale market but don't know the origin."
Of particular concern is green mustard - a product that has been sampled and analyzed and found to contain the active ingredient Cypermethrin at 0.79 mg/kg, 8 times higher than the allowable level.
