(Baonghean.vn) -At approximately 4 PM on June 27th, a serious traffic accident occurred at the intersection of Le Hong Phong and Nguyen Van Cu streets, leaving the motorcyclist in critical condition.
At the time of the incident, a car with license plate 37A – 105.93, driven by Hung, born in 1981, residing in Block 6, Do Luong town, was traveling from Nguyen Van Cu street towards Ha Huy Tap street when it collided with a red Vespa motorbike, license plate 37B1 – 098.68, driven by Ms. Ha Thi Kieu Van, born in 1987, residing in Block 7, Doi Cung ward; a teacher at Le Mao Kindergarten.

As a result, Ms. Ha Thi Kieu Van fell and hit her head on the road, sustaining serious injuries and being in critical condition. It's worth noting that at the time of the accident, Ms. Van was wearing a helmet (a fashionable one), but when she fell, the helmet failed to provide adequate protection. This serves as a costly lesson for those who still underestimate the importance of wearing helmets or use low-quality helmets while participating in traffic.
Immediately after the accident occurred, the driver of the car promptly called an ambulance to take the victim to the hospital. Traffic police quickly arrived to secure the scene and investigate the cause of the accident.
