Vinh City is expected to be directly affected by storm No. 4. Storm prevention work is currently being urgently deployed by schools.
At Le Mao Primary School, after the school's call, the Parents' Association mobilized a lot of bamboo, meters and mobilized forces to cover and protect the green tree system and classrooms from the storm. Some other districts such as Dien Chau and Nam Dan also requested schools to inform students about the school closure when the storm arrives.
Some mountainous districts with boarding students such as Con Cuong district - the locality has also required all schools to keep students at home, not allowing them to return during heavy rain. At the same time, teachers are assigned to be on duty 24/7 to ensure food, accommodation and safety for students.

In high schools, because all schools have Facebook and use electronic messages (vnedu) between the school and parents, information is quite easy. Currently, the Board of Directors of Huynh Thuc Khang High School is continuing to monitor the storm's developments and is expected to announce the school closure schedule to students (if any) by 5:00 a.m. tomorrow (August 30) at the latest. At Nghi Loc 4 High School, Cua Lo High School, and Nguyen Duy Trinh High School, this afternoon, the school also announced that students would be off school and planned to make up for the missed classes.
Regarding storm prevention, the Department of Education and Training also issued an urgent notice requesting the Department of Education and Training and its affiliated units to regularly monitor the storm's developments on the mass media to take timely prevention and response measures.
