Prison No. 6 has a new warden.
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of August 9, at Prison No. 6 (General Department VIII - Ministry of Public Security), the General Department of Criminal Judgment Enforcement and Judicial Support announced the decision to supervise the Prison.is Major Tran Ba Toan.
Attending the event were Lieutenant General Nguyen Ngoc Bang - Director General of the General Department of Criminal Enforcement and Judicial Support (Ministry of Public Security); Major General Phan Xuan Son - Deputy Director General of General Department VIII; Major General Vi Quang Thieu - Director of Department C90 (General Department VIII) and representatives of the leadership of Prison No. 5, prisons located in the provinces of Ninh Binh, Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh and representatives of relevant departments, local authorities where the unit is located.

Accordingly, based on work requirements and on the proposal of General Department VIII, on August 1, 2017, General Department III signed a decision to transfer and appoint Major Tran Ba Toan, former Deputy Warden of Prison No. 5, to work and hold the position of Warden of Prison No. 6.
Speaking at the ceremony, Lieutenant General Nguyen Ngoc Bang emphasized that comrade Tran Ba Toan must promote and inherit the tradition of more than 70 years of building and developing the Prison Camp No. 6. At the same time, he must find a way to have more and more prisoners reform well and soon return to their families and communities.

Responding to the sentiments of the General Director, Major Tran Ba Toan thanked the General Department and the Board of Supervisors of Prisons No. 5 and No. 6 for their trust, and promised to make every effort to continue building Prison No. 6 into a leading unit in reforming, educating and helping prisoners reintegrate into the community.
