Prison No. 6 announces amnesty decision for 285 inmates.
(Baonghean.vn) -On the morning of August 30th, Prison No. 6 (Ministry of Public Security) held a ceremony to announce the President's amnesty decision for 285 inmates. Representatives from Thanh Chuong district and surrounding communes attended the event.
The inmates granted amnesty this time are all individuals who have shown good behavior and meet the conditions stipulated by law. Prior to their release, these inmates had participated in legal education, moral education, and life skills training organized by the prison to help them reintegrate into the community.
Reportedly, 449 inmates out of more than 15,446 nationwide are eligible for this amnesty policy in prisons located in Nghe An province.This demonstrates the humane policy of the Party and the State towards offenders. It also acknowledges the results of rehabilitation and good compliance with regulations by prisoners, as well as the achievements of the education and rehabilitation process in prisons, detention centers, and society as a whole.
