(Baonghean.vn) -On the morning of August 30, Prison No. 6 (Ministry of Public Security) held a ceremony to announce the President's decision to grant amnesty to 285 prisoners. Representatives of Thanh Chuong district and local communes attended.

The prisoners who are granted amnesty this time are all those who have reformed well and met the conditions prescribed by law. Previously, the prisoners had participated in legal education, moral education and life skills classes offered by the prison to help them integrate into the community after being released from prison.

It is known that in prisons located in Nghe An, there are 449 prisoners out of more than 15,446 prisoners nationwide who are entitled to this special amnesty policy.This is a demonstration of the humane policy of the Party and the State towards criminals.
