(Baonghean.vn) - Since March 2022, Viettel Nghe An has coordinated with the Department of Industry and Trade and districts in the province to deploy the "Market 4.0" model, promoting cashless payments. To date, 6 markets have implemented the model, with more than 1,000 points linking payment cards, and thousands of small traders registering to use the Viettel Money application, conducting electronic transactions; creating a positive effect, spreading the application of digital technology in the fields of commerce and life.
Easy buying and selling, no cash required
Promoting digital transformation has become an urgent need and plays a role in promoting economic and social activities in the new normal state. In order to concretize the Resolution on the digital transformation program, implement the policy of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee on digital payment, move towards the trend of cashless payment to ensure safety and speed when buying and selling, with the mission of "Pioneering in creating a digital society", Viettel deploys a digital transformation program in payment activities with the theme "New normal technology market - Market 4.0".
With this model, traders and customers when buying and selling at "Market 4.0" make payments by scanning VietQR codes or transferring money via phone numbers on the Viettel Money application, replacing the traditional form of payment in cash.

To implement the project, Viettel has opened free QRcode payment points, no maintenance fees, no monthly usage fees, unlimited free transfers at "Market 4.0" markets. In addition, connecting with a system of 42 banks and e-wallets to support traders and customers to make transactions of transferring, depositing, withdrawing money and buying and selling online quickly and easily anytime, anywhere.
In addition to accepting QR code payments, "Market 4.0" traders can use Viettel Money to pay fees to the Market Management Board, pay for electricity, water, phone, installment payments, insurance, .... and hundreds of other utilities.

The "Market 4.0" network is increasingly expanding, with more than 1,000 Viettel Money deposit and withdrawal points, ensuring convenience for traders, ensuring that traders can easily access and receive quick service. Accordingly, the number of traders registering to open accounts, using the Viettel Money application, and buying and selling transactions made by electronic payment methods instead of cash at these markets is also increasing.
Wishing to make it convenient for people to access and use the service, Viettel has implemented a number of incentive programs in the first months of implementing the "Market 4.0" model: supporting small traders to transfer money for free for 12 months, expanding the limit of 12 months of free deposits and withdrawals at deposit/withdrawal points up to 50 million VND/month, free parking, 5,000 VND refund for one transaction...
