Coast Guard Station 1 helps fishermen of Bach Long Vi island district overcome and cope with 2 storms
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of October 11, storm No. 7, internationally named LIONROCK, weakened into a tropical depression, entered the mainland of provinces and cities from Hai Phong to Nam Dinh and weakened into a low pressure area.
Heavy rain and strong winds at sea are still continuing due to the influence of low pressure circulation combined with strengthening cold air. Although not located in the storm's eye, the island district of Bach Long Vi (Hai Phong City) still has strong winds, posing a danger to vehicles anchored there.
According to the forecast of the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, on the night of October 11 and the morning of October 12, a new storm with the international name KOMPASU will enter the East Sea. All ships operating in the danger zone are at high risk of being affected by strong winds and large waves.
