(Baonghean.vn) - Due to heavy rain last night and this morning (December 8th), some roads in Vinh City have been flooded. Currently, the city's largest pumping stations, Cau Den and Cau Tri Thuy, are operating at full capacity to combat the flooding.

The Cau Den pumping station (Trung Do ward - Vinh City), which drains water from Cua Nam, Vinh Tan, Trung Do wards, and regulates water flow from Vinh Market and Vinh Tan areas into the Vinh River, is currently operating at full capacity to combat flooding. All on-duty crews are present to operate the station.

Other pumping stations are also operating at full capacity to combat flooding, such as the Cau Tri station in Ben Thuy. "The water level of the Lam River is still low compared to the reservoir, so the pumping station is working well," said Nguyen Van Chien, the engineer on duty there.

The rainfall measured in Vinh City is currently 200mm, with many streets severely flooded, including Nguyen Thi Minh Khai, Duy Tan, Quang Trung, Hecmann Gmeiner, Nguyen Tai, and Le Loi...
