The final battle for Donbass is coming
British military expert Alexander Merkouris said that Ukraine's resistance is weakening. Fierce fighting could continue for another three or four months in Donbass, and the final battle for Donbass will take place.

According to RIA Novosti, British military expert Alexander Merkouris commented that the final battle for Donbass could happen in the near future.
“The main fortified positions of Ukraine are starting to collapse. Ukrainian resistance is weakening. Fierce fighting may continue for another three or four months in Donbass, but then, when more villages are taken, the final climactic battle will begin there,” said military expert Merkouris.
According to the expert, there is news about the extremely disorganized defense system of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The analyst explains that the Ukrainian soldiers are less and less ready to fight with the same intensity as before. According to Merkouris, they are not able to stop the onslaught of the Russian army at any level.
“So everywhere you look, everywhere on the front, the situation is very bad,” Merkouris said.
Earlier, on July 9, the adviser to the head of the Donbass region, Igor Kimakovsky, reported that the Russian army continues to advance towards the highway between Ugledar and Konstaninovka in Donetsk in order to deprive Ukraine of the possibility of continuous mobility and supply. According to him, fierce fighting continues in the direction of Ugledar. He added that Russian artillery is attacking the identified targets.
Meanwhile, according to the publication Strana (Ukraine), in the capital Kiev, a wave of protests demanding to ensure the demobilization process of military personnel is taking place.
In the released video, dozens of women can be seen gathering on the central street of the capital - Khreshchatyk Street, holding posters calling for demobilization such as: "Ensure clear demobilization", "Why is our army the most vulnerable?".
