The actor promised to change himself after incidents of offensive statements and performances caused him to be removed from the "hot seat" of a playground.

In response to mixed public opinion about him being forced to leave the judge seat of Tuyet Dinh Song Ca Nhi 2017, at noon on April 26, Tran Thanh sent an apology to the audience.

Tran Thanh said that he and his manager had arranged their work to prepare for Tuyet Dinh Song Ca Nhi. But then, he was surprised when Vinh Long Television - the unit broadcasting the game show - announced that he was not suitable for the program at this time. "The station asked me to temporarily stop my role as a judge to have the opportunity to cooperate with the following programs. I did not feel comfortable asking further but just happily accepted," he said.

The actor said he still has other contracts to work on and hopes the audience will accept him as before.

A representative of another producer also confirmed that this station had discussed with them about limiting invitations for Tran Thanh to cooperate in new programs, except for game shows that have already been recorded.
