Concerned about a project in Dong Hieu

(Baonghean.vn) - Although the project construction plan was approved in 2016 and started more than 3 years ago, the project of Uncle Ho's Memorial Site visiting Dong Hieu is still stuck in land clearance issues and cannot continue to be implemented.

On June 29, 2016, the Provincial People's Committee issued Decision No. 3051/QD.UBND-XD approving the detailed construction planning at a scale of 1/500 for the Memorial Area of Uncle Ho's visit to Dong Hieu. On October 7, 2016, Decision No. 4855/QD-UBND was issued approving this construction investment project. This is a very meaningful project for the land of Phu Quy in general, and Dong Hieu Farm in particular, which was once the "flagship" in agricultural production of the block of state-owned farms in the socialist North and was visited by Uncle Ho on December 10, 1961. In April 2020, this project officially started with a total investment of more than 54 billion VND, on an area of more than 10 hectares, expected to be completed in 2023. The project of the Memorial Area of Uncle Ho's Visit to Dong Hieu includes the main area of the square, located next to the intersection of Ho Chi Minh Road and National Highway 48, which is the center of the relic complex commemorating the event of Uncle Ho's visit to Dong Hieu Farm (including: Dong Hieu Farm Stadium, Dong Hieu Farm Guest House, Uncle Ho's fish pond, coffee lot 119).
