Equipping commune-level officials in Nghe An with information technology knowledge and skills.
On the morning of September 22nd, the Nghe An Department of Science and Technology inaugurated the first training course on basic knowledge and skills in information technology and digital transformation for officials and employees responsible for digital transformation at the commune level.


Through training courses aimed at enhancing the information technology capacity of officials and civil servants responsible for digital transformation at the commune level, enabling them to proficiently use administrative management software systems, public services, and electronic documents; contributing to standardizing work processes at the grassroots level in line with the e-government and digital government orientation.
Activities are aimed at enhancing transparency, openness, and efficiency in serving the people and businesses; gradually bringing the Politburo's Resolution No. 57/NQ-TW on breakthroughs in the development of science, technology, innovation, and national digital transformation into reality.

During the training course, participants are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to design, deploy, manage, administer, and operate information technology infrastructure (basic knowledge of information technology, LAN networks; the Internet; IT equipment; ensuring information security through application software, firewalls, data backup, IT incident response, etc.) as well as related equipment.
The training course equips participants with knowledge on connecting, installing, and managing auxiliary devices used in network or computer environments; administering, exploiting, and operating the VNPT-IOffice document management and operational system; conducting online meetings; and effectively administering, exploiting, and operating online public service platforms.
In addition, the organization is responsible for registering, managing, and using official digital signatures; ensuring cybersecurity; guiding the development and implementation of resolutions and plans on science and technology, innovation, and digital transformation; and guiding the use of online learning platforms, etc.

According to the plan, the Nghe An Department of Science and Technology will organize 4 training courses, divided into 2 sessions, for officials and employees responsible for digital transformation in 130 communes and wards across the province; each training course will last 5 days.
