Dispute over salary division, male worker stabs colleague to death

On September 12, Dong Nai Police said they were coordinating with Long Thanh District Police to investigate a murder case that occurred in Hamlet 11, Binh Son Commune, resulting in one death.

According to initial verification, Nguyen Van Minh (28 years old) and Pham Tran Tan Thoi (25 years old, both living in Cam Duong commune, Long Thanh district) are friends. Both work as workers for a company in Nhon Trach district.

At around 6pm on September 11, Minh and Thoi went to Mr. Nguyen Van Vuong’s house (Binh Son commune, Long Thanh district) to receive their salary. After receiving the money, the two had a conflict about dividing the money. During the argument, Minh slapped Thoi in the face.

Angry at being beaten, Thoi went to the trunk of the car, took a knife and stabbed Minh once. Minh ran outside, collapsed and died later. Thoi quickly fled the scene.

Upon receiving the news, Long Thanh District Police reported the incident to their superiors and went to the scene to coordinate with the commune police to verify and investigate the incident.
