Giving 1000 warm clothes to students in 2 disadvantaged communes in Con Cuong

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of November 20, Golden City Joint Stock Company cooperated with the Nghe An Press Alliance Club to give 1,000 warm coats to students of 4 schools in two disadvantaged communes of Binh Chuan and Don Phuc, Con Cuong district.

Binh Chuan and Don Phuc communes are two communes with many difficulties, located far from the center of Con Cuong district. This area is where the Thai ethnic group mainly lives. People's lives in these two localities depend on raising livestock, planting and protecting forests. Due to being far from the economic centers in the area, people's trade is still limited, causing many economic difficulties.

Currently, in Binh Chuan commune, the poverty rate is still 36%; in Don Phuc commune, the poverty rate is 45%, and people's lives still face many difficulties and deprivation. Especially, when winter comes, many children still lack warm clothes to wear when going to school.
