Donated 17 tons of rice to support people in flood-hit areas

(Baonghean.vn) - On October 31, the relief team of Co May Company Limited, Sa Dec City (Dong Thap) supported 17 tons of rice, worth over 200 million VND, for people affected by floods in Quynh Luu district and Hoang Mai town.

8 tons of rice were given by the charity group directly to the people of Quynh Long commune (Quynh Luu).

In Quynh Luu, the delegation visited and presented 8 tons of rice to the people of Quynh Long commune; in Hoang Mai town, the delegation presented 9 tons of rice to the people of Quynh Loc commune. On this occasion, the charity delegation also visited and presented 400 gifts, each containing 20 kg of rice, to the people in the flooded areas of Nghi Loc district.

The representative of the Company's leadership said that this amount was taken from the company's annual charity fund; contributions from staff and workers; and calls and mobilization from brothers, friends and partners to support people in flood-hit areas, with the desire to contribute a small part to help people overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives.
