Awarding bachelor and engineering degrees to nearly 3,500 students of Vinh University

(Baonghean.vn) - On the evening of June 15, Vinh University held a closing ceremony and awarded bachelor's and engineer degrees in 2017 to nearly 3,500 students of Course 54 (2013 - 2017).

This is a course with many outstanding achievements. In 4 years, many students have actively participated in competitions such as the Marxist-Leninist Olympic, the Light of the Path competition and on-site volunteer activities, voluntary blood donation, cultural, artistic, and sports activities... Through these activities, many students have strived to achieve the title of good student, excellent student, and been considered for various scholarships.

In addition, many students were awarded by the Central Youth Union, the Central Vietnam Student Association, the Ministry of Education and Training, the Provincial People's Committee, the Provincial Youth Union, the Youth Union, the Student Association of Nghe An province and the School, many students were honored to become members of the Communist Party of Vietnam.

At the end of the course, the School's Graduation Council reviewed and recognized the graduation of 3,484 students, including 22 excellent students, 357 good students, and 2,464 good students. Among them, 60 students are Laotian international students. This is also the first course to implement foreign language output standards according to professional title standards (level 3/B1 according to the European reference framework).

Speaking at the graduation ceremony, Professor, Doctor, Distinguished Teacher Dinh Xuan Khoa - Principal of the school highly appreciated the efforts of K54 students. From these initial successes, the school principal hopes that after graduation, the students will promote their mettle, will and tradition of the school to start a business, establish a good career, contribute their strength, intelligence and enthusiasm, contribute to building a democratic, civilized and prosperous homeland and country.

On this occasion, Vinh University awarded scholarships sponsored by the Dong Hanh - Nghe Tinh Fund to 17 students with especially difficult circumstances but striving to excel in their studies and training with a total amount of 41 million VND.
