Presenting gifts worth nearly 100 million VND to students in the border district of Ky Son

Huu Kiem Primary School has its main office in Hom village, Huu Kiem commune. The school has 46 teachers and 412 students, mainly children of Thai and Kho Mu ethnic groups. Currently, the students are studying at 6 separate schools. In the 2016-2017 school year, the school has made great efforts in teaching and learning, through which 1 teacher has achieved the title of excellent teacher at the national level, 1 teacher has achieved the title of excellent teacher at the provincial level, 10 teachers and 9 students have achieved the title of excellent teacher at the district level...

On this occasion, the Phoenix Charity Fund and the Step Up to School Club presented many gifts to the teachers and students of the school. Accordingly, they presented over 1,000 books, over 50 classroom bookcases, and 300 uniforms to disadvantaged students at three satellite schools: Dinh Son 1, Dinh Son 2, and Huoi Tho village. The total value of the gifts was nearly 100 million VND. This is the amount raised by the two charity groups from support from domestic and foreign organizations and individuals.
