Having carefully prepared the ingredients the day before, on the morning of December 28th, before dawn, Buddhist followers at Phuc My Pagoda had already cooked four large pots of porridge at the pagoda and were ready for their charitable trip to distribute porridge at Do Luong District General Hospital.

Despite the cold and rainy weather, many elderly Buddhists still participated in the program, cooking and distributing porridge. Learning from previous porridge distribution events, to avoid patients having to bring their own bowls, the porridge was served in plastic cups and handed directly to everyone.

It is known that over the years, along with the process of renovating the religious facilities and restoring the practice and activities of Buddhists, Phuc My Pagoda in Yen Son commune, Do Luong district, has organized many charitable programs to donate gifts to people and students in remote areas, and provide free porridge to patients to share the difficulties with the poor.
