Awarding ceremony of the Literature and Poetry Composition Contest with the theme 'Nghe An Front in the hearts of the people' and announcing the logo of the Nghe An Provincial Fatherland Front Congress
(Baonghean.vn) - The Jury has selected 21 winning works, including 1 Special Prize, 1 First Prize, 2 Second Prizes, 3 Third Prizes, and 14 Encouragement Prizes from 836 entries.
On the evening of May 9, in Vinh City, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province coordinated with the Provincial Association of Literature and Arts to organize the Closing Ceremony and Award Ceremony of the Poetry and Literature Composition Contest with the theme: "Nghe An Front in the hearts of the people" and announced the logo of the Provincial Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) for the term 2024-2029.
Attending the program were comrades: Hoang Nghia Hieu - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Vo Thi Minh Sinh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province; Bui Dinh Long - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and leaders of a number of departments, agencies and branches of the province.
On October 19, 2023, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province coordinated with the Provincial Association of Literature and Arts to organize the Launching Ceremony of the Poetry and Literature Composition Contest with the theme "Nghe An Front in the hearts of the people".
After 4 months of launching, the contest received 836 works; including 54 literary works and 782 poetic works; typically, Vinh city participated in the contest with 272 works, Yen Thanh district with 173 works, Dien Chau district with 75 works...
After working with a spirit of urgency, seriousness, objectivity and honesty, the Jury selected 21 winning works, including 1 Special Prize, 1 First Prize, 2 Second Prizes, 3 Third Prizes and 14 Encouragement Prizes.
According to the Organizing Committee's assessment, the works closely followed the proposed themes and requirements, mainly focusing on contents such as: propaganda work, mobilizing people of all walks of life, promoting the strength of national solidarity; campaigns and emulation movements initiated or coordinated by the Vietnam Fatherland Front; supervision, criticism, participation in preventing and combating corruption and negativity, and participating in Party building and government building...
The entries reflect the activities of the Fatherland Front at all levels, examples of grassroots cadres doing good work for the Front, examples of good people and good deeds in the community, among ethnic minorities, religious dignitaries...
The 2019 - 2024 term is a term of challenges and tempering the will and mettle of cadres for the people, when more than half of the term must carry out the "dual task" of both developing the economy and preventing and combating natural disasters, storms, floods, and the Covid-19 pandemic; a term of "comradely love and compatriotic affection"; a term in which cadres of the Front at all levels have overcome all difficulties and hardships, devoted themselves, devoted themselves to the people, and have been loved, trusted, and placed their trust in them by the people.
The more difficult a term is, the more the strength of the great national unity bloc is consolidated and promoted through the motto of the Front and its member organizations: "Focusing on the grassroots, listening to the people's voices, acting for the people".
"Therefore, the results of this contest have continued to spread the position and role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in the political system," said Comrade Vo Thi Minh Sinh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province, Head of the Organizing Committee of the contest.
“The authors have spoken up for the people, encouraged, cheered and honored those who work for the Front,” the Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province assessed, and emphasized: “This is an opportunity for the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province to listen to, absorb and replicate good models, typical examples of the term; thereby, continuing to promote the strengths of the achieved results and having appropriate solutions to build and perfect the documents of the Congress of the Fatherland Front for the next term, as well as action programs to better perform the tasks of the Front as a solid “bridge” between the “blood” relationship with the Party, the government and the People.
On behalf of the Organizing Committee and those working in the Front, comrade Vo Thi Minh Sinh respectfully thanked the authors and affirmed that the participating works are extremely valuable "certificates of merit", a source of new energy, a solid support for those working in the Front at all levels to be more confident, stronger, continue to build, consolidate and strengthen the "Common House of Great Unity"; contributing to building Nghe An province to develop quickly, sustainably, imbued with Nghe An's identity.
"The contest has ended, but I believe that, together with the success of the Congress of the Provincial Literature and Arts Association for the 2024-2029 term and the close coordination between member organizations, this is the time to open a new page with poetry and literature works that will continue to be spread to encourage and multiply the strength of the great national unity bloc with the goal of a rich people, a strong country, democracy, fairness, and civilization," emphasized comrade Vo Thi Minh Sinh.
It is known that the winning works of this contest will be edited and published into a book of poems and prose "Nghe An Front in the hearts of the people"; along with the works participating in the "Pride of the Vietnam Fatherland Front" Contest on the Fanpage "Nghe An Front" in 2022; The Standing Committee of the Provincial Fatherland Front will coordinate and select works about real people, typical examples who have participated and are participating in the activities of the Front at all levels to edit and publish the yearbook "Bright examples of the term". These will be two very practical publications, a major project to welcome the Congress of the Fatherland Front at all levels of Nghe An province, towards the 10th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term 2024-2029.
