Award Ceremony for the "Beauty of the Military" Contest 2015

(Baonghean.vn) - On the evening of December 21st, the Provincial Military Command solemnly organized the closing ceremony and awards presentation for the "Beauty of the Military Personnel" contest in 2015.

The "Beauty of the Soldier" contest in 2015 was one of the practical activities of the Provincial Military Command aimed at celebrating the 71st anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22, 1944 - December 22, 2015) and the 26th anniversary of the National Defense Day (December 22, 1989 - December 22, 2015).

The couples demonstrated their unarmed drill skills in the competition.

The contestants showcased their performances in military uniforms and traditional costumes.

Eight teams from various agencies and units within the provincial armed forces participated in the competition. Each team competed in five main sections: the greeting section; the unarmed drill section; the military uniform performance section; the knowledge test on road traffic laws, military regulations, and the traditions of the Vietnam People's Army; and the talent section.

Awards were presented to the couples who performed the best drills and fashion shows.

Colonel Luong Hong Phong, Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command, presented the first, second, and third prizes to the participating teams.

After two days of lively and engaging competition, strictly adhering to regulations, the contest concluded successfully. The judging panel and organizing committee awarded two first prizes to the Political Department and Military School teams; two second prizes to the Logistics Department and Economic-Defense Group 4 teams; two third prizes to the Technical Department and Regiment 764 teams; and two consolation prizes to the Staff Department and the Vinh City Military Command. Also on this occasion, the Army Women's Committee and the Provincial Military Command awarded prizes for the "Best Unarmed Drill Performance Couple," the "Best Military Uniform Performance Couple," and the "Best Military Uniform and Ethnic Costume Performance Couple."
