Awarding ceremony of Technical Innovation Contest and Creativity Contest for youth and children in Nghe An
(Baonghean.vn) - The best products were recognized and rewarded at the Award Ceremony of the Technical Innovation Contest and the Creativity Contest for youth, teenagers and children in Nghe An 2022 - 2023.
On the afternoon of July 22, at the Vietnam - Korea Industrial Technical College, the Award Ceremony of the Technical Innovation Contest and the Creativity Contest for Youth, Adolescents and Children of Nghe An Province in 2022-2023 took place.
The program is chaired by the Union of Science and Technology Associations, in coordination with the Department of Education and Training, Department of Science and Technology, Provincial Youth Union, and Labor Federation of Nghe An province.
The Nghe An Provincial Technical Innovation Competition is held every two years and is assigned by the Nghe An Provincial People's Committee to the Union of Science and Technology Associations, the Department of Science and Technology, the Provincial Labor Federation and the Provincial Youth Union to coordinate in organizing. In which, the Nghe An Union of Science and Technology Associations is the standing agency to organize the competition.
The fields of competition are creative technical solutions serving production, life, economy, society, security and national defense: Information technology, electronics, telecommunications; Automation, construction, transportation, materials, chemicals, energy; Agriculture, forestry, fishery, resources and environment; Other fields (education, health...).
Contestants are all individuals and organizations working and living in Nghe An, with technical solutions that are the result of creative activities, initiatives, improvements and applications of science and technology in socio-economic activities created and applied in Nghe An from 2016 onwards.
In 2022-2023, the Organizing Committee received 16 applications and technical solutions for the competition. Of which: 8 applications were submitted in the fields of agriculture, forestry, fisheries, natural resources and environment; 4 applications were submitted in the fields of mechanics and automation; and 4 applications were submitted in other fields.
Based on the scoring results of the Judging Council, the Organizing Committee has decided to award: 1 First prize; 1 Second prize, 1 Third prize; and 3 Encouragement prizes to authors/author groups participating in the Nghe An Provincial Technical Innovation Contest 2022 - 2023.
3 groups of authors with promising models/products and 3 groups of youngest authors were also recognized and awarded.
From the above results, the Organizing Committee continues to select products with high results and potential to send to the national competition.
The Creativity Contest for youth, teenagers and children is a national contest held annually nationwide. The contest is open to youth, teenagers and children in the province, from 6 to 18 years old. In particular, the contest encourages young children, children in mountainous areas, border areas, islands, and ethnic minorities to participate.
The topics, models and products of the contest are in 5 areas: Learning tools; IT software; Environmentally friendly products; Household appliances and children's toys; Technical solutions to respond to climate change, protect the environment and develop the economy.
In 2022-2023, the Organizing Committee received 81 applications and technical solutions for the competition. Of which: Learning materials: 16 products; Computer software: 12 products; Household appliances and children's toys: 10 products; Environmentally friendly products: 17 products; Technical solutions to respond to climate change, protect the environment and develop the economy: 26 products.
The Organizing Committee awarded: 1 First Prize; 3 Second Prizes; 10 Third Prizes; 24 Encouragement Prizes. From the above results, the Organizing Committee continues to select products with high results and potential to send to the national competition.
At the program, outstanding teachers participating in the guidance and students with many achievements in the 2021-2022 school year were awarded Certificates of Merit by the People's Committee of Nghe An province. In addition, 3 outstanding units with achievements in propaganda and dissemination of the 2022-2023 contest also received Certificates of Merit from the Organizing Committee of the 2022-2023 Nghe An Provincial Youth and Children's Creativity Contest.
At the end of the program, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department Nguyen Thi Thu Huong launched the Technical Innovation Contest and the Creativity Contest for youth and children in Nghe An province for the 2023-2024 school year.
