Awarding the "January Star" award and the title "5 Good Students"
(Baonghean.vn) -On the evening of January 9, at Vinh University, the 64th anniversary of the traditional day of students and the Vietnam Student Association (January 9, 1950 - January 9, 2014) was held; the awarding of the title "January Star" for the 2013-2014 school year and the title "5 Good Students" for the 2012-2013 school year took place.

At the ceremony, 59 members were awarded the title of "January Star" at the school level, 37 student members were awarded the title of "5 Good Students". The title of "January Star" is awarded to students with a GPA of 2.9 or higher (calculated by the credit system) or with prizes in Olympic competitions at the school level or higher, and are dynamic and creative union cadres. The "5 Good Students" award is given to students who meet 5 criteria: good training, good physical strength, good ethics, good study, good volunteering, and have a GPA of 3.0 or higher (calculated by the credit system).

Among the honored students are Nguyen Thi Thanh, class 51A Geography, who was awarded the "January Star" award by the Central Student Association, and Nguyen Van Tam, class 51A, Faculty of Foreign Languages, who was awarded the "5 Good Students" award by the Central Student Association.
