Awarding the "January Star" award and the "Outstanding Student" title.

(Baonghean.vn) -On the evening of January 9th, Vinh University held a ceremony to commemorate the 64th anniversary of the traditional day of students and the Vietnam Student Union (January 9th, 1950 – January 9th, 2014); and to award the "January Star" title for the 2013-2014 academic year and the "5 Good Students" title for the 2012-2013 academic year.

At the ceremony, 59 members received the "January Star" award at the university level, and 37 student members received the "Five Good Students" award. The "January Star" award is given to students with a GPA of 2.9 or higher (calculated based on credits) or who have won prizes in university-level or higher Olympic competitions, and who are dynamic and creative student union leaders. The "Five Good Students" award recognizes students who meet five criteria: good conduct, good physical fitness, good ethics, good academic performance, and good volunteer work, with a GPA of 3.0 or higher (calculated based on credits).

Awards were presented to students who achieved the "January Star" title.

Awards were presented to students who achieved the title of "Excellent Student in Five Areas".

The students were awarded prizes.

Among the honored students were Nguyen Thi Thanh, class 51A Geography, who received the "January Star" award from the Central Committee of the Student Union, and Nguyen Van Tam, class 51A of the Faculty of Foreign Language Pedagogy, who received the "5 Good Students" award from the Central Committee of the Student Union.
