2018 National Volunteer Awards Ceremony
Thousands of Vietnamese and foreign volunteers attended the 2018 National Volunteer Day. Here, the Organizing Committee awarded the 2018 National Volunteer Awards to groups and individuals with many contributions to the community.

On December 1, the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Federation, the United Nations Volunteers Program, and Vietjet Air jointly organized the National Volunteer Day and presented the National Volunteer Awards. These are activities to celebrate the 2018 International Volunteer Day in Vietnam. |
These activities aim to recognize, honor and show gratitude to domestic and international volunteer individuals and organizations who have brought good things to the community, contributing to the socio-economic development of the country. At the same time, this is an opportunity for individuals and organizations to meet, exchange and share experiences in the volunteer field.
This year's National Volunteer Day had the participation of about two thousand domestic and international volunteers. Within the framework of the festival, volunteers participated in many practical and meaningful activities such as: Giving gifts to 30 ethnic minority students in difficult circumstances, each gift worth 5 million VND; visiting and giving 100 million VND to Mr. Nguyen Dinh Tai - anti-drug officer, Border Guard of Nghe An province; donating blood voluntarily; participating in the program "Bringing music to the hospital", giving gifts to 20 patients in difficult circumstances...
At the Festival, the Organizing Committee presented the 2018 National Volunteer Awards to 8 groups and 10 individuals with outstanding achievements in volunteer work for the community. Each award includes a Certificate of Merit from the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, a pair of domestic round-trip air tickets of Vietjet Air and 5 million VND.
On this occasion, the Organizing Committee also honored 20 outstanding volunteer clubs, teams and groups across the country. Each award includes a Certificate of Merit from the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union, a pair of domestic round-trip air tickets of Vietjet Air and 2 million VND.
