Providing support and handing over 'Great Unity houses' to poor households in Nghe An
(Baonghean.vn) - On November 16, many localities in the province organized the giving of support money and handover of "Great Unity houses" to poor households, on the occasion of the 89th anniversary of the tradition of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (November 18, 1930 - November 18, 2019).
*Anh Son District Fatherland Front Committeeorganized a ceremony to present 90 million VND in support money taken from the "Fund for the Poor" mobilized by the Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province, to build "Great Unity Houses" for 3 poor families in Vinh Son commune, including: Mrs. Phan Thi The in village 2, Mrs. Dang Thi La in village 6 and Dang Thi Tam in village 8. Each family received 30 million VND in support.

On this occasion, the Fatherland Front of Anh Son district also presented 20 gifts from the Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province to poor families and those in especially difficult circumstances in Vinh Son commune; each gift is worth 500,000 VND.

Mr. Le Vo Quan, Tho ethnic group, is a poor household. His family's circumstances are difficult, his wife is often sick, his children are still young, and he is currently living in a temporary house. To share with his family, the Fatherland Front of Nghia Dan district supported 10 million VND, the Fatherland Front of Nghia Loi commune supported 10 million VND to help the family build a new house.

Ms. Lan's family is in a very difficult situation. She is a single, disabled woman, currently raising a disabled daughter, and has to live with her mother and brother.
Over the past 3 months, with the help of all levels, brothers and neighbors, the solid 3-room house has been completed and put into use. Of which, the district Fatherland Front has allocated 30 million VND from the "Fund for the Poor", the rest has been donated by brothers, relatives and neighbors in money and working days; to help Ms. Lan's family have a stable place to live and improve their lives./.
